amazon product recommendation

WELCOME to my product recommendation page. I have taken the time to create a list of items that we use in our home. You can trust that I will only recommend products that I have owned, used and found to be of good quality and use. These are the type of recommendations that I look for when seeking someones input and I hope you will find them useful.

toy sets

We are pretty minimalist when it comes to toys. We have some large sets of toys that the kids never get bored of playing with. These are also high quality toys and will last you for years to come.

Magnatiles

We bought three large sets over the last few years and there is so much you can build. It is the primary playing toy in our home and is of high quality. The Magna Tiles differs in its construction and is held together with multiple screws, hence more expensive but the sturdier version.

Picasso Tiles

Picasso Tile is comparable to Magnatiles except a little cheaper. We don’t own them but their prices are lower than magnates. The Picasso Tiles are held together with glue and hence less expensive than the Magna Tiles. Both are compatible with each other.

Magformers

This is another magnetic building set. They come in different shapes and designs so you can build different structures unlike the Magnatiles.

Classic Lego

Lego is a classic toy – a must-have. If you are kids are slightly older I recommend the Classic collection as they are smaller in size.

Lego Duplo

If you are wondering how to introduce lego, start with the duple. This is the perfect size for your 2-6 year old.

Brio train

This is a set that will last you for years to come. You can build large tracks and get some fancy battery operated engines to go on it.

stem toys

We all want our kids to learn with curiosity and interest. What better way than buying toys that they can play with that while also developing skills for life. This is a great way to expose your child to the world of science, technology, engineering, and  math (STEM). Your kid will gravitate to some and build a passion for it.

Artie Max

Give Artie Max a few instructions (code) and see it draw on paper. This is another coding game for your logic lover.

OSMO Coding

We all love OSMO and they now have a few coding games. Your kid will be teaching you this in no time.

MasterMind

This is a simple but powerful mind game. Your child needs to crack the code in 10 tries based on past success and clues.

Gravity Maze

This is a game of logic where you need to create a path for the marble to go from point A to point B.

Microscope

Introduce your child to the world of MicrosBiology through this. It comes with slides of various things and allows your child to see and explore what the eyes can’t see.

Botley

Botley is a coding robot. This toy teaches your child to apply logic and sequence by providing directions to the Bot. It is such a great way to introduce your STEM lover to coding.

Earth Science Kit

You can’t go wrong with any National Geopgraphic kit. They all come with experiential learning in the areas of Science, Geography, and other fields.

Your Dinosaur lover will “excavate” by digging out these Dino Eggs and find different species of Dinosaurs. It comes with little Fact Cards about each Dino.

Which kid does not like to play with Dice? If you have some dice around your house, you can use those as well to practice math facts.
