my faith

My testimony is pretty simple. I’ve been a Christian all my life but I only accepted the Lord when I was in Undergrad. I came to know the Lord in a personal way by reading the word of God. I was blessed to be surrounded by strong believers who influenced me greatly in my journey to experience Jesus in my daily life. The Bible is a powerful book and can bless your life in ways you never imagine. I hope to fill this page with encouragement and share resources, tips, books and stories that will inspire you in your walk with God. 

podcasts I LOVE

In the last year, I have found podcasts to be an excellent way to educate and enrich my life. As moms, we never have a moment to rest but in our busyness, we can still make time to listen to meaningful things. Try listening to podcasts or audiobooks while doing laundry, grocery shopping, waiting in line, or even cooking and you’ll be glad you did. These podcasts have been such a blessing to me and I hope you will find them too. I will update this section as I encounter more Christian Podcasts. 

The Bible Project
If you are looking for a place where you can study the Bible with great depth and understanding, this is it. Tim Mackie and Jon Collins enter into interesting conversations about theology, connections within the Bible, and backstories. Get in on this conversation and join them on a journey to learn Biblical truths.

The Daily Grace Co Podcast​
I came across the Daily Grace Co Podcast through their shop, which has fantastic Christian resources. It was a sweet coincidence, and since then there has been no going back. Two lovely ladies host' this show and do an incredible job of sharing Biblical wisdom using scripture.

Cynthia Yanof is a parent who talks into parenting with Christian truth; she is relatable, honest, and a terrific speaker. She brings on some incredible guests and does an excellent job of keeping the conversation focused. Listen to her for some parenting encouragement.

Focus on the Family​
Focus on the family is a program you might have heard on any Christian radio station when driving around town. There is so much wisdom and knowledge they share. I especially like to listen to their parenting and marriage podcast shows. They bring guest speakers that bring different perspectives in their daily walk with God.

Proverbs 31 Ministries​
I have been subscribed to their daily readings for a long time. They are a group of women who write from their lives and share strength from comfort from their personal stories and their faith and walk with God. The Podcast is an extension of what you will read in their emails. They share wisdom, truth, and Bible focused content.

Truth Seekers
The Truth Seekers podcast is a podcast for kids who can learn the Bible Stories and its relevance to them in a fun and interesting way. Sherilyn Grant is the podcast creator and she does a really nice job of teaching Biblical truths in easy to digest format for kids. We love listening to her in the car.
