parenting

No matter where you are in your journey of life, whether you are a working mom or stay-at-home mom, we all have one important job to do – to raise our children so that they can be responsible and good citizens of the world. You don’t have to walk the parenting journey alone. In this space, I hope you will feel seen, understood, encouraged, and empowered to step into this role with wisdom and intentionality. Let’s do this together.

parenting books i love

It is always so hard to know what books to read, and a great review or a good recommendation can be so helpful in these moments. That’s why I am sharing a set of books that I have read, loved, applied, and used in my journey parenting and raising three kids. I hope you find this list helpful. (Affiliate links below).

We all have parenting triggers, and this book addresses everyone of them. It is built on sound biblical principles and teaches you what the Bible has to say in tackling these triggers.

If you are looking for a guide that will help you pray with intention and purpose for your children, this is it. I highly recommend this book.

Abbie writes with so much love for God and conviction in raising kids with a biblical view. It is inspiring and encouraging, and it touches on all topics of motherhood. Go grab this copy today.

I love this book because it teaches you how to raise kids who are prayerful. They share so many great ideas for you to use with your own kids. For example, we incorporate a simple and effective way to be thankful using their idea of the quick Thank you God prayers.

This book is written by the same authors who wrote Triggers. If you loved that book, you know you will love this. It gives you scripts you can use with your kids in your parenting moments with them.

This is not a christian book but one of the bets parenting books I’ve read. It is so well written and tells you exactly how your child’s brain functions and how you can raise children with that understanding. It is a must read.

Habits of the Household is an excellent book that will teach you how to create habits in your own life with your children in all areas such as bedtime, mealtime, prayer life, screen time, etc. It is actionable with lots of wisdom, advice, and personal stories shared by Justin from his own experience raising four boys.

Abbie Halberstadt is a well known Christian influencer on Instagram, a mother of ten, and an author of two books. Both are rich in Christian principles and truths and speaks straight into the Christian Mama’s heart. Make sure to pick up her other book M is for Mama as well.

While this book is not a parenting book, it contains many great topics that influence how we parent and raise our children. This book is written by Ginny Yurich, the founder of 1000 hours outside, a movement that encourages kids to spend more time outside than inside and on screens. It truly gave me a new perspective into what play means, how technology affects childhood, and many more such topics.
