parenting
No matter where you are in your journey of life, whether you are a working mom or stay-at-home mom, we all have one important job to do – to raise our children so that they can be responsible and good citizens of the world. You don’t have to walk the parenting journey alone. In this space, I hope you will feel seen, understood, encouraged, and empowered to step into this role with wisdom and intentionality. Let’s do this together.
parenting books i love
It is always so hard to know what books to read, and a great review or a good recommendation can be so helpful in these moments. That’s why I am sharing a set of books that I have read, loved, applied, and used in my journey parenting and raising three kids. I hope you find this list helpful. (Affiliate links below).
Habits of the Household is an excellent book that will teach you how to create habits in your own life with your children in all areas such as bedtime, mealtime, prayer life, screen time, etc. It is actionable with lots of wisdom, advice, and personal stories shared by Justin from his own experience raising four boys.
While this book is not a parenting book, it contains many great topics that influence how we parent and raise our children. This book is written by Ginny Yurich, the founder of 1000 hours outside, a movement that encourages kids to spend more time outside than inside and on screens. It truly gave me a new perspective into what play means, how technology affects childhood, and many more such topics.
